World-class residential treatment programs in the privacy of our luxury Hollywood Hills mansions.

Bliss Recovery provides an unparalleled personalized addiction recovery experience within our exclusive estates in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles.
We specialize in comprehensive, evidence-based residential treatment that includes discreet, medically supervised drug and alcohol detox. Our facilities are designed for ultimate comfort and privacy, offering private suites, gourmet cuisine, and dedicated 24/7 clinical care to support your journey to lasting sobriety.
Inside Bliss
Research consistently shows that environment shapes outcome. When clients feel physically safe, aesthetically at ease, and genuinely comfortable, the nervous system regulates — and regulated nervous systems are far more receptive to therapeutic intervention.
Our Hollywood Hills residences were not retrofitted clinics. They are private estates where architecture, light, nature, and privacy were part of the clinical design from the start. Every room, every view, every garden was chosen because calm is not a luxury here — it is the point.
When you arrive, you are not checking into treatment. You are coming home to the version of yourself that has not existed in a long time.

Your first hours are unhurried. A member of our clinical team meets you, walks you through the residence, and begins your intake assessment in a private, comfortable setting.

Our medical director reviews your history, current health, and any substances in your system. A detox plan or residential schedule is drafted the same day.

Days are structured but not clinical in feel: therapy sessions, meals, wellness activities, and quiet time follow a rhythm designed around your recovery, not a clock.

Individual sessions, group work, and family programming are woven through the week. Your plan is adjusted as you progress — the clinical team meets daily to review every resident.

Discharge planning begins early. Aftercare, alumni connection, and continued outpatient options are arranged before you leave — so there is never a gap in support.
Bliss Recovery gave me the privacy and structure I needed to rebuild my life. The staff treated me with genuine care, not just as another patient.
For the first time in a year, I slept through the night. The discretion, the setting, the people — everything was exactly what I needed.
The transition from detox to residential to aftercare felt seamless. One team, one philosophy, and I never felt like I was starting over.
Watching my husband go through Bliss was unlike anything I expected. They treated our whole family with dignity, honesty, and extraordinary compassion.
Yes — we welcome approved pets at select residences. The comfort and continuity a pet provides during treatment is genuinely therapeutic, and we accommodate it wherever possible. Confirm the type of pet, breed, weight, and when they received their necessary shots when you speak with admissions. Learn more about our residences.
We limit each residence to six clients — 12 in total across both residences — so that the clinical team genuinely knows every person. Treatment happens inside private estates, not retrofitted medical buildings — the architecture, light, and calm are part of the clinical design, not a backdrop to it. Our staff-to-client ratio, dual-diagnosis depth, and refusal to rush discharge are what distinguish us. Read more about Bliss.
We treat alcohol use disorder, opioid and opiate dependence, benzodiazepine addiction, stimulant use (cocaine, meth, prescription stimulants), prescription drug dependency, and polysubstance use. Most residents present with more than one substance. See the full list of conditions we treat.
Yes. Dual diagnosis — addiction alongside depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, or other mental health conditions — is the norm rather than the exception in our resident population. Our clinical team includes psychiatrists and licensed therapists who specialize in treating both conditions simultaneously, not sequentially. More on what we treat.
We offer the full continuum: medically supervised detox, residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and lifetime alumni aftercare. Each level is staffed by the same clinical team so transitions feel continuous rather than disruptive. View all programs.
Yes. Medical detox at Bliss is 24/7 supervised by our physician and nursing staff. It typically lasts five to ten days and takes place in your private suite — you are never in a shared ward or clinical holding room. Medications are used as appropriate to manage withdrawal safely and comfortably. Learn about our detox program.
Bliss works especially well for executives and working professionals who cannot disappear from their lives for months without discretion; for out-of-state clients who want a destination-level environment; for people with co-occurring mental health conditions who need integrated psychiatric care; for couples who want to recover together; and for anyone who has had a disappointing experience in a large institutional program and needs a different approach. If privacy, space, and genuine clinical depth matter to you, reach out.
We're in-network with HealthSmart, MultiPlan, PMCS, and TriWest, and we work with most major PPO plans — Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, and others — on an out-of-network basis. Our admissions team verifies your benefits at no cost, before you make any commitment. Call us or use the online form — most verifications complete within a few hours. Verify your insurance.
Residential treatment runs thirty to ninety days depending on clinical need, personal goals, and insurance coverage. Most clinicians recommend a minimum of thirty days; many residents and their families find that sixty or ninety days produces significantly more durable outcomes. Cash-pay arrangements can differ. We do not rush discharge. View programs.
The best way is a conversation — no forms, no commitment. Our admissions coordinators are clinically trained and will give you an honest assessment of whether Bliss is the right level of care, or help you find a better match if it isn't. We are available 24 hours a day. Talk to admissions.

Both program types use the same evidence-based clinical foundations. The differences are in environment, individualization, staff ratios, privacy, and breadth of services.
