Does Bliss Recovery accept insurance?

Yes. We're in-network with HealthSmart, MultiPlan, PMCS, and TriWest, and we work with most major PPO plans — including Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Magellan — on an out-of-network basis. Our admissions team will verify your specific benefits before you commit to anything — at no cost and with no obligation.

How does insurance verification work?

Submit the short form on this page or call us at (323) 798-4411. We contact your insurer directly, confirm your in-network or out-of-network benefits, and give you a plain-language summary — typically within a few hours. You'll know exactly what's covered, including deductibles and any out-of-pocket costs, before you make any decision.

How quickly can I get admitted?

For most clients, from first call to check-in takes one to three days. Insurance verification is usually completed the same day. Once coverage is confirmed we coordinate travel, transport, and a bed — our driver picks you up door-to-door. Urgent placements can often be arranged within 24 hours.

How do I begin the admissions process?

What happens on the first call?

Your intake coordinator will ask about your situation, the substance or substances involved, any co-occurring conditions, and what you are looking for in a program. The call typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. Nothing you share is disclosed without your written authorization.

Can a family member call on behalf of a loved one?

Yes. We regularly speak with family members who are researching options on someone else's behalf. We can walk you through the program, answer questions about clinical fit, and guide you through next steps — all confidentially.

Is there any obligation when I reach out?

None. A conversation with our admissions team is informational only. We will give you honest answers and the space to make the decision that is right for your situation, in your own time.
